Our address is Suite 209, 16504 118th Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta. We are on the second floor in a building called Nerval on the 118th,
The building should not be locked when you arrive. If it is, please call us, and we will come downstairs to let you in. There is no buzzer or doorbell at the entrance of the building.
There are ramps leading to the main entrance, and you can access the second floor using the elevator or stairs.
We will provide visitors with the code to access the washrooms on the second floor, which are not gender-neutral.
You may be asked to remove your footwear at the door of our space.
We have three meeting and tutoring rooms, a kitchen, a semi-public meeting area, and a training area. The meeting and tutoring rooms are named after trees found in Alberta and Canada: Mountain Ash, Red Oak, and Cherry Blossom. You will see these names in your meeting or tutoring confirmation.
Additionally, we have a quiet room designed for relaxation, reflection, prayer, sensory overload reduction, and mental well-being. This space is available for multifaith prayer, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone experiencing stress or fatigue. Please bring your own prayer mats, holy books, sensory input tools, and self-regulatory items, as needed.
Our kitchen features a hot and cold water dispenser, and we encourage visitors to bring their own water bottles to fill. Learners, tutors, and interpreters facilitating sessions in our office are welcome to use the microwave and fridge.
We are committed to ensuring that all individuals feel valued and safe in our space, fostering a sense of belonging free from discrimination and harassment. We strive to provide the best possible conditions for learning, working, and communicating.
We respectively acknowledge that we are operating our social enterprise on the Treaty 6 Territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route for many Indigenous peoples, including the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux. This land is also home to the city of Edmonton, or Amiskwacîwâskahikan, which is part of the homeland of the Métis Nation, Region 4.
