Working as a freelance linguist, I understand the perspectives of the clients, the linguists, and the professionals who provide services. An effective multicultural communication requires skills from linguistics and know-how from professionals. Holding a Master’s degree in Communication with the specialization in multicultural communication and working in the newcomer service sector for more than ten years equip me with both academic perspectives and practical skills to provide professional development sessions to both linguists and service providers and to explore with them about what works best to meet the needs of service delivery and meaningful connections.
